Horrible equal apple/iphone info 7yr behind Garmin 3 yrs behind THIER OWN APPLE App all customer service says is its in development but they did upgraded android for new system same app tech company designed generation 1/2 for apple phones but only gen2 system androids thats being prejudice. And bias was told equal though nick customer service/tech told me had to because they don't say apple user are only garantee full option user

Purchased Dogtra 282 collar. Receiver and battery went bad shortly after one year warranty expired, despite very minimal and non aggressive use of collar. Had to pay to repair. I agree with other reviews that this product is not designed to last beyond the short warranty period.

Would highly discourage people from Dogtra products. Go with literally any other brand. Long story short, my collar fried my dog without my control & customer service was like "eh, it happens". I sent in the collar for a diagnostic check & they sent it back with zero feedback and hasn't worked since they sent it back.

We purchased a dogtra e fence system. Within months the one collar stopped working. After calling about warranty they told us we had to pay for shipping both ways and it could be months for us to get it back. We used dogtra.ca seeing how it said it was the canadian side and apparently that's not true and they are an absolute lying, thieving company. There is no canadian dogtra. Absolute horrible company, will never buy another product of theirs.

Dogtra sent me a defective transmitter which they made me pay shipping to receive and shipping to return. Proof of receipt thru tracking but they only process refunds every other Friday. Funny, they charged my credit card a week before they shipped it but don't process refunds when they get it back.

Terrible terrible customer service and product quality. The collar is made to barely outlast the one year warranty provided. Once you call customer service you’ll receive the most unprofessional and apathetic responses you can think of while blaming you for what happened to the collar. A customer service representative advised me to purchases an antenna for range issues and the issue with the collar persisted. Not only will you pay a crap ton for shipping, they won’t cover the shipping costs due to their incorrect suggestions. Other options are to send it in for a couple of weeks, they will charge you shipping and labor plus the batteries which will cost you about $90 additionally. Will never deal this company again and their products.

i just purchased the iQ PLUS... straight out of the box it seemed like a nice fit to my hand... there is def 2 things i'd change to improve your product... 1) why did you have to make it so the transmitter and collar need to be together to turn it on and off... i feel this is a nuisance... 2) the rheostat dial is def a deal breaker for me... i tried setting it at a certain number and look down ,the dial changed... this is every time... let's say my dog decides to run after a rabbit, i hit him with the nick button... he yelps extremely loud and i look down the rheostat went from 12 to 46... i wish i'd seen this product in a store before i purchased it on line... def would have bought another collar... i'm not by any means saying dogtra is a poor product... i think you strike out on this collar... i'm now stuck with a collar i hate, but can't afford another collar....

Horrible experience with dogtra. Collar was shocking my dog at random when the dog wasn't even by the line. Took the collar off the dog, called dogtra they said they will look at the collar. I would need to pay to ship it to them and pay to get it fixed. Turn around time was going to be 10 days. I have had this unit for less then a year. Thats why i gave 1 star. Have a sport dog collar for training with remote. Way better customer service and Warranty. Pay the extra and go with sport dog.

The collars are one of the best...BUT they get you coming and going..
The battery lasts about 1 year, so I called Dogtra to see if they can help me...the collar is 2 months out of warranty and said they can replace the batteries for me at $25 per battery (I have 2 collars) plus S&H...but if I replace it on my own they Void the warranty on the collary which is 5 years...
So I asked how much it would cost for them to replace the battery for me and she said $45 and up...I said for a battery? Per battery plus labor...So to replace the 2 batteries it was going to cost me approx $90 plus s&h...so not only are they one of the highest costing training collars, they rape you to replace a battery every year...
I will never do business with this company again.. I will have to buy another training collar but it wont be a Dogtra

NEVER AGAIN...BEWARE! I had purchased 3 of their units, and also replacement batteries. I recently ordered a set of batteries for $48. One battery did not work. They asked me to return MY collar with the battery. Then they wanted me to pay over $100 to get my battery and collar back. They did NOT respond to their local BBB.

We've had our collar for about 3 years. It broke, and I have had to send it in twice, and have even been blamed for it breaking. No one will call you to let you know what's going on with the collar. I have been without a working collar for 3 months. I have should have bought a new collar from a different company for the amount of money I have spent for "repairs" that haven't been done and shipping costs. I will never purchase from this company again.

An internal charging mechanism went bad, these dirtbags do not honor the warranty that the product is under, even though they wrote the warrant.

If you but I've of these expensive products, expect to pay a second time even though it should be covered by warranty.

Very disappointed. I bought dogtra e collar 1900 last year end of October. The remote disfunctioned by this year end of July. ( the level number showing on remote keep changing by itself which could be very dangerous for my dog) I called dogtra customer service. They told me yes my unit still under 1 year warranty but I have to pay the fee to ship my ecollar back to them which could cost me 80$ What kind of service is that! Wouldn’t recommend dogtra to any of my friends!

It takes a few minutes to connect everything, so we start it before we leave the house or a bit before we get to the trailhead, but once it is fired up, it works beautifully. The app works great, the battery lasts all day, and the components have stood up to lots of swimming, rocks, branches, etc. We are very happy with the product
